The most anticipated event of the year is back and better than ever!  On March 7th I will present and demonstrate to you my favorite NEW finds from the HUGE upcoming trade show in January.  

You will be given AT LEAST 10 of these items (and I’m not talking about 10 sheets of paper either!) at the Amy’s Favorite Things party, plus special discounts on MANY MORE fun favorites! 

This is the third time we have done this.  The first time we made a HUGE splash with LOTS of goodies for all attendees.  They walked away with over $140 in product!  The date to clear your calendars of all other events is:

Kit Mania Day

Helen has been a VERY busy girl!  She has been creating kit after beautiful kit, so we decided to have a Kit Mania Day in March.  So, be sure and make some time on March 31st from 10-9 and stop in and check out the AWESOME kits that Helen has been making.  These kits always sell out fast, so be sure and stop Saturday, March 13th from 10-9!

Snowed In Scrapaganza

Trust me, by March you’ll have major cabin fever!  So, join us for our Snowed In Scrapaganza on March 27th!

All of this is just $50.00.  Scrapaganza officially ends around 5:00, but feel free to stay and crop until 9:00. ScrapAway Retreat

We are pleased to announce and open up registration for our Spring ScrapAway at the Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Center in Butler, PA April 30, May 1st and 2nd, 2010.  This will be our 21st bi-annual ScrapAway!  The Nazarene Center’s state of the art gymnasium is beautifully equipped for a scrapbooker’s needs; including two beautiful seating areas for chatting and acoustic padding throughout the facility to help with noise levels.  The center’s proximity to our store is an added bonus and because of the large scrapping space we have, we can offer the package without lodging.  Full weekend with lodging is $180.00 and full weekend without lodging is $160.00.  Both packages include 5 meals, 24 hour snacking, 1 Class, Sunday devotional, a goody bag, a commemorative T-Shirt, door prizes for everyone and a discount coupon for all the product you want from our store, all weekend long.  We also have fun games and contests throughout the weekend.  Our attendees routinely tell us that it is the best scrapbooking weekend around! SDU Day

Scrapbook Design & You® teaches beginner through advanced scrapbookers the essential scrapbook theories and principles of design.  SDU will dramatically enhance the skills of any scrapbooker to help you create dynamic scrapbook pages. 

In each class, you will focus on specific theory and techniques of scrapbook design.  You will have the opportunity to work hands on with your instructor to create scrapbook pages.  By the time you have completed the entire course you will be well versed in how to develop strong layout designs.  The core SDU Curriculum provides you with:
-A 4-part education booklet, appropriate for every skill level.
-A chance for you to get acquainted with the tools of the trade. 
-The opportunity for you to learn successful color selection & layout design theory.
-Gain an appreciation for the importance of journaling, hand lettering and titles in design.
-Opportunity to learn new techniques for matting photos, getting stickers out of your collections, and giving new life to punches.
-Have fun completing layouts to keep and use. 
-And, you’ll receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the entire course.

This extensive course is offered for just $60.00 (that’s just $15 per class!).  Please note:   all class materials to make your layouts are provided with the class fee.  You’ll use our tools in class and be able to determine what tools you like best before you buy!

Cricut Workshops

Cricut Classes
Got a Cricut? Want a Cricut? Afraid of your Cricut? Well, here comes help…The Cricut System is a revolutionary cutting system that’s cartridge-based and allows you to cut thousands of beautiful letters or phrases in a variety of sizes and styles with a touch of a button. 

Cricut Beginners Class:
Tuesday, February 2nd at 6:00PM, $20.00
Thursday, March 4th at 6:00 PM, $20.00
This class will orient the beginner to the basic use of the Cricut and Cricut Expression cutting systems.
Each class will be hands-on learning of the machine and its components and will include a single page layout using the Creative Feature keys.
Each participant will bring their own machine to class and will learn using the cartridge that was supplied with the system. (George or Plantin’ Schoolbook)
This is a hands-on class, kits are not available.

Cricut Cartridge Specific Class: Disney Happily Ever After
Wednesday, January 20th at 6:00 PM, $20.00
This class will introduce one new font cartridge each session.
There will be a demonstration of the cartridge and its creative feature keys in the form of four single page layouts.
Participants must bring their Cricut or Cricut Expression machine and their Disney Happily Ever After cartridge.
The Cricut beginner class is a pre-requisite to taking this class.
This is a hands-on class, kits are not available.

Design Studio Program:
Tuesday, February 16th at 6:00 PM, $20.00
This class will introduce each participant to the exciting new way of connecting the Cricut or Cricut Expression machine to a computer.
This program allows you to explore, design, and cut the complete Cricut Cartridge library; plus easily save your one-of-a-kind layouts for later use or to share with others.
Participants must bring their Cricut or Cricut Expression machine to the class along with their George and Basic Shapes or Plantin’ Schoolbook cartridge. Laptop users, please bring your laptops and Design Studio software.

Silhouette Class

The QuicKutz Silhouette SD is a digital craft cutter perfect for cutting shapes and letters to use on your scrapbook pages, cards, and more!  The QuicKutz Silhouette SD machine requires a PC with Windows 2000, XP, or Vista and an Internet connection.  You can also use it on a Mac, with the Adobe Flash Plug In.  The Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter SD gives you instant access to your entire digital design collection. There are 50 stylish Digital Designs included with the software including tags, shapes, words and more. It also gives you the power to create designs anywhere from 1/4” to 11” tall. The Silhouette SD will allow you to cut any TrueType font on your computer, create your own designs, and cut clip art already on your computer.  Plus, you can use a variety of mediums with your Silhouette, including cardstock, patterned paper, magnetic paper, vellum, vinyl, and more.
Basic QuicKutz Silhouette Class:
Thursday, January 7th at 6:00 PM, $20.00
Tuesday, March 30th at 6:00 PM, $20.00
- At this class the beginner will learn the basics of using the QuicKutz Silhouette SD machine
ο During the class we will use the QuicKutz Silhouette machine to complete two pages
- Each participant will bring their own QuicKutz Silhouette machine and a laptop with the QuicKutz software pre-loaded
