TERRIFIC TECHNIQUES | 10 AM | $20

Join us for an inspiring, hands-on journey into the world of crafting! Whether you’re a novice looking to start your creative adventure or a seasoned crafter aiming to refine your skills, this class is designed to elevate your craft game. Our instructors will guide you through a comprehensive exploration of various crafting techniques, enabling you to better understand the products available and gain mastery over essential skills. You’ll dive deep into the art of paper crafting, card making, mixed media, and other techniques, with a focus on tools, materials, and innovative methods. As you participate in these classes you’ll gain a richer understanding of the craft products available, and also the confidence and expertise to transform your creative ideas into tangible, beautifully crafted masterpieces. Each month you will be creating an 8”x4 ½” Etcetera tag that can be collected and repurposed year to year as a decorative piece to display.
Unleash your inner artist in our upcoming Terrific Techniques class and craft a stunning mixed-media tag that’s sure to inspire! Join us on Monday, May 12th, for a creative journey where you’ll master the captivating art of paper weaving using the exquisite Academia cardstock collection from 49 and Market.
Discover how to intricately interlace paper strips to create a unique and textured background for your project.
But the artistry doesn’t stop there! You’ll also delve into the world of texture and dimension as we guide you through the process of texturizing and painting the charming small cathedral frame by Tim Holtz. Learn techniques to bring depth and character to this delightful focal point.
To complete this enchanting tag, we’ll feature the elegant Regal Bird die from Memory Box. You’ll learn how to bring your feathered friend to life with the subtle art of coloring and shading using Distress Crayons. Discover how to add depth and realism to both your paper-woven background and the intricate details of the bird.
Whether you prefer a morning or evening session, we have you covered with class times at 10:00 am or 6:00 pm. However, please note that seating is limited, and our Terrific Techniques classes are incredibly popular, so don’t delay in reserving your spot!

All students must bring their basic tool kit (scissors, trimmer, scoreboard) and adhesives to class (tape, glue, foam dots, and glue dots).
Cancelation policy: Fees are non-refundable. Notify us 3 days prior to date we will reschedule you to another class. If no notice is given, fee is forfeited.
