This class is all about the “relaxed look”—learning how to blend different textures and mediums to create a soft, weathered aesthetic that feels both professional and effortless.

What We’ll Focus On:

Mindful Scene Building: We will move beyond simple layering to build a cohesive “room” on a tag. Using the romantic, shabby-chic patterns of the Mintay Cottage Heart collection, you’ll learn how to balance a composition that tells a story of peace and quiet. For this workshop, we’ll be developing our scene on a 14″x8″ Etcetera Tag!

Dimensional Details: We will cast and finish high-relief elements using the Stamperia Alterego mould. You’ll bring a tiny library to life with a detailed bookshelf, a cozy tufted armchair, a delicate picture frame, and a touch of greenery.

Mixing Mediums: Discover the secret to a “relaxed” finish. We will experiment with mixing various mediums to soften the edges of our 3D elements, giving them a beautiful, lived-in patina that complements the soft florals of your background.

Tactile Textures: Learn how to integrate different surfaces – from the smooth finish of the cardstock to the intricate relief of the mouldings and the organic feel of the ribbon toppers.

You will leave with a stunning, tactile tag that serves as a reminder to slow down and “Relax,” along with the skills to build complex, multi-medium scenes in your own craft room.
