We are using Lisa Horton’s Inference Inks.  This Cloud 9 Metallic Interference Ink is from Lisa Horton Crafts. The ink is a highly pigmented dye and pigment ink. It is a metallic\, shimmery ink pad with an interference color. This ink is perfect for faux bleaching techniques. This ink is also perfect for use with stencils\, blending\, and stamping. The best feature of this ink is that the ink will change color depending on the different colors of cardstock you stamp it on\, which is the “interference color” that this ink pad produces. There are 12 different colors of this ink and one solid dye based water resistant ink pad.  I have made three styles of the same card.  You will chose which one you prefer to make at the Demo.  Saturday\, September 2nd!

DESCRIPTION:ALBUM CONSTRUCTION CLASS:  We are so excited to announce our album construction classes! If you have never made your own memory album from scratch\, we would encourage you to give it a try.  Maria is here to help guide you through all the steps and we think you will be surprised to learn it is easier than you imagine to transform cardstock and chipboard into an album you can be proud of! We will be doing a series of three classes that build on each other: \n101:  This is the basic album including the cover\, spine\, and pages.  You will learn how to create the hinges as well as tips\, and tricks to ensure all the pages are aligned\, the covers have professional corners and the hinges are sturdy. $60 \nFriday\, September 15th at 6 PM \n201:  Builds on the basic album and covers flips\, flaps\, pockets\, belly bands\, and waterfall attachment.  This session also includes more tips and tricks to ensure you have sufficient spacing for your pockets and gussets for your flips and flaps.  This session will make your basic album more interactive and will add pages for additional memorabilia and photos. Album Making101 is a prerequisite to this class and will require that you bring the basic album made in 101 to build upon. $60 \nSaturday\, September 16th at 9 AM \n301:  Continues to build your skills and will include 3D interactive elements\, as well as providing you with the skills to make changes to your future album sizes\, as well as design elements.  This third session will take your albums to a new level!  Although all of the sessions will provide decorating information\, this third session will walk through design specifics and considerations on how to decorate your album inside and out.  Album Making 101 and 102 are prerequisites to this class and will require you to bring the enhanced album created in 201. $60 \nSaturday\, September 16th at 1 PM \nAttending all three classes?  You will get a $30 discount and pay just $150 for a WOW album and all the skills needed to create more albums in the future!

Join us for a day of creativity and fun using all the latest stamping products to make handmade greeting cards.  You will be making four simple\, yet\, beautiful cards…two of each…for a total of eight…to have on hand for that special occasion. All supplies will be provided except for adhesive\, so be sure to bring your favorite with you on the day of the event.  These are NOT the same cards offered in our A Year of Cards Class and stampers of all experience levels are welcome. \nJoin us on September 30th for Stamp-a-Stack.  You can come anytime between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM to make your cards. We are here all day to assist you with your creations\, but this is not a teacher-led class.  In addition\, open cropping is available on this day\, but space will be limited\, so calling ahead is recommended. \nThe cost of the Stamp-A-Stack event is $20.00.  You may also register to make more than one set of cards if you wish.  Now\, how cool is that?
