DESCRIPTION:ALCOHOL INK MARKER CLASS INTENSIVE: In this comprehensive two-part class you will learn from our instructor\, Theresa\, how to go from novice to expert in the use of alcohol ink markers. Each student will be given a comprehensive 12-chapter manual with detailed chapters explaining all the information covered in the class. Such a valuable resource to have for future use! The class fee covers both classes and the manual (binder not provided). We will be using both Copic and Olo markers in class. $60 \nTHE BASICS: In this class\, we will share our experience and knowledge of alcohol ink markers.  Why are they different? How do you buy them? What colors should I choose? We will work together to answer all your questions\, while we enjoy time together stamping and coloring. Together we will cover all the basics\, coloring techniques\, caring for the tips of your markers\, and tricks tutorials. Discover the world of alcohol ink markers while taking this class.  Saturday\, October 18th at 10 AM \nTHE NEXT LEVEL: Now that you have completed The Basic class\, join us while we take your knowledge of alcohol ink markers to the next level. We will learn to color skin and hair\, as well as jeans and clothing types. You will learn about shadows and light sources too. How to color monochromatic\, fur\, and shiny objects will be discussed. So much information!! After this class\, you will feel more confident in the use of your markers. We hope that you will continue to practice new color combinations and techniques to advance your skills.  Saturday\, October 18th at 2 PM \nALCOHOL INK MARKER ADVANCED TECHNIQUES:  In this Advanced Class\, you will learn advanced techniques\, like masking\, backgrounds\, wood grain\, fabric textures\, coloring red (the hardest color to do!)\, and much more\, so that you can take your alcohol ink marker coloring to the next level.  This class will be a lot of fun and you will be learning a lot of interesting\, new\, and fun\, advanced techniques.  Because of the higher level of learning being taught in this class\, we will be limiting the class size to 6 per class. Designed by a stamper for fellow crafters\, these premium dye inks offer solid\, smooth coverage with just a gentle tap\, ensuring consistent\, crisp stamped images every time.  One standout feature is their water-reactive formula\, which allows for creative applications such as watercolor washes\, flicking techniques\, and wet-on-wet stamping.  Additionally\, many ink pads remain wet for several seconds\, providing ample time for ink blending and creating gorgeous backgrounds without harsh lines.  They also work wonderfully for heat embossing\, as the inks do not dry immediately\, allowing clear or colored embossing powders to adhere perfectly.  We have carried Catherine Pooler inks for quite some time\, but we have just added some new colors to our product line and thought that would be a great time to show everyone all about these wonderful ink pads.  You’ll be making this wonderful card.
