We are so very excited to host our 52nd semi-annual ScrapAway at Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Center in Butler, PA! This retreat is designed for ladies who want to skip the circus-like atmosphere of large scrapbook conventions and instead focus on making friends, relaxing, and crafting the weekend away.

At our retreat, you’ll enjoy plenty of workspace—you definitely won’t feel like a sardine while scrapping with us!**

We offer four different packages: a 4-day or 3-day option, each available with or without lodging. Retreat packages include fabulous meals, comfortable lodging, a commemorative ScrapAway T-shirt, and a luxury class. Our rates are fantastic compared to other retreats, making this an exceptional value.

The Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Camp features a spacious gymnasium for crafting and comfortable rooms with private baths*, offering conference-center convenience at an affordable cost. Thanks to the size of the gymnasium, we’re also able to offer a no-lodging package—perfect for our local scrappers!

While there is no shopping at the retreat center itself, you’ll receive a special discount coupon to use in our store before and during the retreat. That means access to the largest scrapbook store in the tri-state area—plus a discount, not inflated convention prices! Our store is just a few short miles from the center, making quick runs for those must-have items easy and convenient. You will not be disappointed!

*Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Motel-style rooms are filled first and overflow is accommodated in dormitory-style rooms. Private rooms (no stranger roommate) can be accommodated for an additional fee of $25.00 per empty bed if we are at full capacity. Registration cannot be guaranteed without payment. The conference center does not allow smoking in its buildings. You must smoke in designated outside areas only. No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on the grounds. If you break these rules you will be asked to leave without a refund. All registrants will receive by email: directions, instructions, and a discount coupon for the store the week before the retreat. The retreat opens at NOON on Thursday for four-day participants. The retreat opens at 9 AM on Friday for three-day participants. Please do not come earlier as we need to set up the facility.
